What I do?I completed my doctorate in Music at Columbia University (dissertation abstract). My research interests include Latin America, North Africa, and popular music studies, music and nationalism, and the intersection of vocality and gender performativity.

What else?In addition to teaching undergraduate courses at Fordham University, CUNY Hunter College and Montclair State University, I am producer of the Latino Music Series at the Long Island Museum of American Art, History and Carriages, and a digital marketing consultant.
